Our Rehabilitation department provides compassionate, quality individualized care. Licensed therapists evaluate patient function, determine goals of therapy, and perform and develop a personal treatment plan in order to obtain a positive outcome whether it is to return to work or to a productive living.
The overall goal of the Rehabilitation department is to deliver comprehensive services to individuals including infants, children, adolescents, adults and seniors. Inpatient and outpatient services are provided and include comprehensive assessments, treatment planning, delivery and documentation of care, consultation, re-evaluation and discharge planning. All procedures require a written order from a licensed physician.
Services are provided with emphasis on quality patient care based on sound professional ethics. Diagnostic assessment, direct therapeutic intervention, patient and family/caregiver education and staff consultation and training are integral portions of the Physical Therapy services program.
Inpatient services are performed at the bedside on all acute care units. Outpatient services are provided in the rehabilitation clinic.

Our caring professionals understand the challenges that families face when a child has physical or developmental disabilities. Our interdisciplinary team of professionals provides the family with support and guidance throughout the therapeutic process.
Our therapists and specialists assess each child’s developmental needs, set appropriate goals, and create an individualized intervention plan and a home treatment program. Working together, the team coordinates care for children with multiple needs among their physical, occupational, and speech therapies.
We stress parent/caregiver involvement, training, and education for the entire family. Additionally, we provide information and referrals to community resources, thereby increasing a child’s potential for success.
We treat children from newborn to adolescence who have been diagnosed with any of the following conditions:
|
|
Autism Spectrum
Developmental Delay
Speech and Language Delay
Sensory Integration Dysfunction
Fine and Gross Motor Skill Delay
Hearing Impairment
Orthopedic and Neurological Conditions
