Following a long and extensive search, the Tracy Hospital Foundation selected Robert Green to be its new Executive Director. Green is responsible for developing and enhancing fundraising opportunities and building relationships with the community to meet the foundation's philanthropic goals. He also directs the foundation’s day-to-day operations and oversees strategic planning.
Green has more than 30 years of experience in operations/administration, project development and finance. He has also been actively involved in fundraising and donor development for numerous not-for-profit organizations, including the Boy Scouts of America and United Way.
"I am honored to have the opportunity of working on behalf of the Tracy Hospital Foundation," states Mr. Green. "I look forward to developing a close working relationship with the hospital directors, community board members, and members of the Tracy community. I recognize the tremendous impact for good the hospital foundation can accomplish in fulfilling the needs of the hospital and community."
Green has been a successful entrepreneur. For the past 10 years, he directed his own company that manages a school in Phoenix for students with behavior difficulties. Earlier in his career, Green owned and operated the Mary Law Private School for grades kindergarten through sixth grade in Oxnard, California. He served as the school's executive director for 14 years. He has also worked as a consultant for several years helping businesses expand, reorganize, and achieve financial stability and profitability.
"We are very fortunate to have Bob join our team," says Foundation Chairperson Pam Warta. "His integrity, proven leadership skills, and strong administrative background make him well suited to lead the foundation and fulfill our mission to enhance the health and well-being of our community."
