Tracy, CA -- The Portuguese Hall/Tracy Ballroom will be transformed into a winter wonderland full of elaborately designer decorated Christmas trees and wreaths, and lights, all set to kick-off the holiday season. All proceeds of the event help to improve the lives of Tracy's children. In addition to funding the CPR for Kids program, the Foundation is tackling one of the most serious issues facing children today – obesity. This year, Festival funds were used to launch Project Fit America and Coordinated Approach to Child Health (CATCH), two national programs that teach children about health and fitness.
The public can partake in the event on Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Tracy Ballroom, 430 W. 9th Street in Tracy. General admission is $4.00 for adults and $2.00 for children. The Festival offers children's holiday make & take crafts, a gift shop just for kids to do their shopping, photos with Mr. & Mrs. Santa Claus, a holiday café featuring home-baked goods and candy, a specialty gift boutique and viewing the forest of gorgeous designer decorated trees.
