May 2002
Sutter Tracy Community Hospital's 4th Annual Children's Health & Safety Fair is set for Saturday, May 11th. This educational and festive event will be held on the hospital grounds from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. Over 60 booths, exhibits and activities will be offered on children's health, prevention and child-related resources. Numerous health and fitness related activities also provide kids with valuable hands-on approach to learning about health and prevention. Local health care professionals will be available to answer questions and distribute information about child and adolescent health and safety topics including healthy eating, injury prevention, and immunizations. The Hospital and Foundation are promoting Safe & Smart Cycling by distributing informational flyers on bike safety and offering free bike and bike helmet drawings! The event is expected to attract over 3,500 people year. While the fair was typically held in September, it has been moved to May to coincide with Bike Safety and Children's Safety month.
