Bone Mineral Densitometry is now available at Sutter Tracy Community Hospital's Eaton Medical Plaza
January 2002
We are pleased to announce the addition of bone mineral densitometry to the list of services available at STCH. Our new equipment uses the latest fan-beam technology for the fastest scan times and dual energy x-ray absorptometry (DEXA) for the most accurate results available.
Our full-size table will accommodate patients up to 300 pounds and measures bone density at the two most critical areas: the spine and hips. Forearm screening is available for those patients who cannot lie on the table.
Now patients no longer have to travel out of town for this procedure. Appointments can be scheduled at Eaton Medical Plaza just like other x-ray procedures. Simply call 830-2115 or provide a written prescription.
