    Breastfeeding Education
    This class will teach expecting parents the proper techniques for breastfeeding.

    Childbirth Education
    Classes draw upon a variety of techniques. Childbirth instructor prepares expectant mothers and their partners for birth. The class includes instruction in relaxation and breathing to reduce the discomfort of labor, the partner's role, hospital and possible medical procedures, medicated and non-medicated labor, anesthesia. This class and 4-week Wednesday class offer the same content.

    Childbirth Education Series
    September - November 2010
    Sutter Tracy Community Hospital offers an information packed childbirth preparation (Lamaze) class series, which prepares the mother and her support person for labor, delivery, and postpartum experiences. Includes a hospital tour of Sutter Tracy Birth Center. These classes meet once a week for four weeks. This class offers the same class content at the 1-day Saturday class.

    Childbirth Review
    Sutter Tracy Hospital offers a one-class session, which prepares couples who have already had a childbirth course with a previous pregnancy. Includes a review of labor, delivery, and breathing and relaxation techniques. It is not necessary to register for the Review class if attending a full Childbirth class.

    Sibling Preparation Class
    A program to help bring existing children into the limelight of welcoming a new baby to the family. The class assists children in dealing with the attention demands and physical needs of a new baby and helps parents to recognize and address the needs of older children.
